Exploring Salem Oregon: May Museum Home Tours
Deepwood Museum
& Gardens

Salem, Oregon

Deepwood is fully furnished as a residence. The goal is for visitors to experience Deepwood as it was intended – as a warm, beautiful home. All furnishings have been donated to the museum over the last 40 years and are consistent with the era of the house. Some of the rooms are displayed to represent the ownership of specific residents.
Exhibits are rotated throughout the year to share more of the era’s history and the museum’s collection with the general public.
The current exhibit is: “Tea Traditions & Fashions”
Visit Deepwood
for a museum home tour throughout the month of May and get a chance to see a
variety of global tea items and learn the history of tea traditions of many
different cultures. Edwardian tea dresses will also be on display throughout
the home.
