Exploring Salem Oregon: Punx in the Park

WE ARE BRINGING PUNK ROCK BACK TO MARION SKATE PARK!!!

A super rad FREE Punk Rock show, featuring 5 local punk bands, food trucks, and more.

Punx in the Park is hitting the scene September 17th, 2022, at the Salem Skatepark (Marion Square Park) in the heart of our at risk community. PITP is a punk rock show and a resource event that will support our community’s youth by providing resources and collecting donations that will benefit HOME Youth Services.

The community vendor booths will include resource organizations and vendors. There will be a wall for rattle can (spray paint) art. We are going to have a haircut/salon booth if you want a new du. There will be a Build-A-Punk station if you wanna get punked out for the show!

This is a FREE show and anyone is welcome. Come as you are. If you’re planning to bring the kids that’s OK, but you should know that the punk rock music being played may include profanity or adult themes. We welcome everyone who wants to support our youth so please join us!

Donations: We will be collecting donations at the event. HOME Youth Services will receive these donations to help our local youth.
Items you can donate:
New/used clothes for ages 11-18
New/gently used outdoor living equipment
Canned/packaged food items
Phone chargers/cables
Hygiene products
Schools supplies

All donations are tax deductible. We appreciate your help! Thanks for helping us make an impact in our community.

Please help us keep this event safe and fun for all. We love doing this and we want to make it an annual event. We respectfully as that all attendees support this cause by avoiding alcohol and drug use at the event. It’s a no drugs, no alcohol, no drama event with a great purpose.
