This communities love for books has inspired us to start a book club, giving us an opportunity to come together around a couple of things we love most – books, buddies, and bevvies (and alliteration).

Our June book is Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson. Please consider supporting a Black-owned bookstore or a local bookstore. In Salem and Corvallis, we suggest Book Bin and in Portland, we suggest Powell’s. We also love you if you choose to enjoy this book using an ebook or audiobook format.

We will meet at an in-person gathering on Sunday, June 12, 2022.  There will also be a virtual component available. Join us at 2:00 pm at Eola Hills’ Legacy Vineyard or at 4:30 pm PST virtually via Zoom. Please register in advance so we know how many people to expect.
